1. Who We Are

PricePilot is operated by Vantage Meridian Group LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). We provide a pricing analytics platform for direct-to-consumer brands and small retailers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use PricePilot:

• Email address — optionally provided by you during the report configuration step, used solely to send a transactional notification when your report is ready.
• Uploaded pricing data — the spreadsheet you upload containing your product, bundle, benchmark, and performance data. This is used exclusively to generate your pricing report.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Generate your report — your uploaded data is processed by our rules engine to produce pricing recommendations.
• Send transactional email — if you provide an email, we send a single notification when your report is ready.
• Send marketing email (opt-in only) — if you check the “Send me PricePilot updates” box during configuration, we may send occasional product updates and pricing tips. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.
• Process payment — payment is handled by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files and generated reports are retained for 30 days after report generation, after which they are automatically deleted. Payment records are retained by Stripe according to their data retention policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is shared only with the following service providers, solely to operate PricePilot:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — file storage (S3) and transactional email (SES)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Render — application hosting
• Vercel — frontend hosting

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest for stored files, HTTPS for all data in transit, and secure authentication for all service integrations. Uploaded files are stored in private S3 buckets with no public access.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@vantagemeridiangroup.com. Since reports are automatically deleted after 30 days, most data is removed without action on your part.

8. Marketing Communications

We only send marketing or promotional email to customers who explicitly opt in during the report configuration step. You may opt out at any time by contacting us at support@vantagemeridiangroup.com, and we will promptly remove you from all marketing communications. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional emails related to reports you have purchased.

9. Cookies

PricePilot does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We may use essential cookies required for the application to function.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

12. AI Assistant Extensions (Claude Desktop)

PricePilot is available as a Claude Desktop extension. When you use the extension, only the pricing queries you submit (product prices and category names) are sent to our servers. We do not receive, store, or process:

• Your conversations with Claude
• Any personal information or account details
• Browsing history or usage patterns beyond query counts for rate limiting

Extension queries are processed identically to direct API requests and are subject to the same data handling practices described in this policy. Rate limiting data (request timestamps) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

13. Data Processing Addendum

PricePilot's MCP tools and Desktop Extension provide read-only access to aggregated, anonymized category benchmark data. No personal data is collected, processed, or stored through these interfaces.

If future versions introduce personal data processing, this addendum will be updated with standard contractual clauses covering data controller/processor roles, data subject rights, security measures, and breach notification procedures.
